We had a brilliant time in Black Sod and staying with Hannah was one of the highlights. Her B & B is a fantastic place to stay. It’s been a hard time for people in the hospitality sector but Hannah has played a blinder. You have to try her scrambled egg and Salmon it is to die for!!!

Hannah’s B&B is like home away from home. It was lovely to swim with her and the locals in BlackSod and be part of the locality for a few days. Breakfasts are a highlight

Le meilleur accueil que nous ayons eu durant notre séjour! Hannah est vraiment une personne exceptionnelle, qui s’intéresse à ses hôtes, et prodigue de très bons conseils adaptés à chacun. On a plus l’impression d’être des amis que des hôtes! Très belle maison, équipements parfaits, et, cela ne gâte rien, petit-déjeuner absolument merveilleux, mention spéciale pour les scones! Nous reviendrons.

We had a wonderful time at this B&B. It was great to meet some of Hannah’s friends and locals at the pub. Great stories and a truly perfect Irish experience with wonderful hospitality on our arrival and Hannah made us feel right at home. I would most definitely return here if I’m in Ireland again!

We stayed in Léim Siar for two nights in August with our young baby. Hannah couldn’t help us enough, particularly in terms of ensuring we had everything we needed for the baby. She is a truly lovely woman with a very warm heart. She works hard to make her guests feel welcome, including with scones and tea on arrival. Such are her people skills that she managed to put me in touch with someone I hadn’t seen in twenty years who had passed through the B&B some years earlier! Hannah is a gem. Alongside Hannah, the other star of the show is, of course, Blacksod itself. The landscape is spectacular. We did the loop walk that passes by the front door of the B&B and on a fine day you will have some of the best views in Ireland, back towards Achill and out to the Inishkea Islands.
